Ham and Potato Soup

Ingredients
- 1 lb of cubed Ham or Bacon
- 8 medium potatoes, cubed
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 1 diced onions
- 1 Tbls dried parsley
- 12 cups water
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 can of evaporated milk
- 5 beef bullion
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Dash of pepper
- Corn Starch
Method
Step 1
Add water to Dutch oven. Boil ham, potatoes, onion, carrots, bullion, parsley, butter, salt and pepper. Boil until carrots and potatoes are tender.
Step 2
When done remove from heat and add evaporated milk.
Step 3
Then put 3 TBS corn starch with 1/8 cup cold water, mix well and add to soup. Repeat until desired thickness is reached. (The more corn starch that is added the more starchy the soup will taste)
