Honey Glazed Ham

Ingredients
- 1 Smoked bone-in spiral cut ham
- 1/2 cup Clover honey or another mild honey
- 2 Tbls spicey brown mustard
- 2 Tbls cider vinegar
- 1 tsp grated orange peel
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/8 tsp ground clover
Method
Step 1
Position rack in lower third of oven. Preheat to 325F
Step 2
Line large rimmed baking sheet with heavy-duty foil, place wire rack over foil. Place ham on rack, cover loosely with foil. Pour 2 cups water into pan. Bake 1hr 30 min.
Step 3
Meanwhile, prepare glaze. Combine honey, mustard, vinegar, orange peel, pepper and cloves in a small saucepan. Bring to boil over medium-high heat. Remove from heat, set aside to cool.
Step 4
Remove ham from oven. Increase oven temperature to 400F. Brush ham with glaze, bake uncovered, 40 min or until shiny golden brown crust has formed, brushing with glaze every 10 min.
Step 5
Transfer ham to cutting board. Let stand 10 minuts before slicing.
