Bacon Potato Chowder

Ingredients
- 4 slices of bacon
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 cans of cream of potato soup
- 5 cups of milk
- 1/2 tsp of black pepper
- 2 large potatoes cut in 1/2inch cubes
- 1/2 cup of fresh chives
- 2 cups of shredded cheese
Method
Step 1
Stir in bacon, onion, soup, milk, pepper, potatoes and 1/4 cup of chives in a 6qt slow cooker.
Step 2
Cover and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or until the potatoes are tender.
Step 3
Stir in cheese until melted. Serve with remaining chives sprinkled on top
